Nacol has spent her life connecting to the beauty and wonder life offers every day. From a young age she felt a deep inner call to connect with self, nature and sound. Growing up she spent long hours outdoors singing in nature. This sincere connection with spirit (Nacol did not yet know that this was what connection with Spirit felt like) would become the foundation of how Nacol would live her adult life.
Nacol has spent most of her life playing piano and singing for Catholic masses in the Diosease of Pittsburgh, as well as 25 years teaching music in various Catholic schools in the area. In the late 90’s, an inner stirring began while she lead a choir for healing masses in Pittsburgh. Just like in Rumi’s poem “The Chick Pea” this inner cooking, inner stirring created a sacred space within. St. Teresa of Ávila, referred to it as the “Interior Castle.” She began to realize that sacred healing space can happen in a church, in a garden, in a mosque … unexpectedly. Nacol is eager to share what she has learned from her experiences with her students.
