Grace has always had a deep desire to learn and ever since she discovered yoga it’s been a long journey down the rabbit hole of all things to do with the mind and body. She obtained her 200-hour vinyasa flow teaching certificate in 2010 and completed a 300-hour Prana Flow certification in 2015. She also holds a certification in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) which focuses on maximizing joint health and strength. She retired after 18 years as a hairstylist to pursue a new career as a Physical Therapist Assistant which gives her a better understanding of students healing from injuries. Grace enjoys strength training and has trained in Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Being creative is what feeds her soul so you can always find her working on some new DIY or craft/art project. She is inspired by her previous teachers and those individuals creating the new yoga Renaissance such as Cecily Milne, Trina Altman, Laurel Beversdorf, and Jenni Rawlings. Learning never ends for Grace so expect her to share all the new discoveries she makes along the way.
What to expect in Grace’s class: non-traditional approach to yoga that infuses elements from many different modalities. Come with an open mind, curiosity, and a playful heart. Her goal is to equip her students with the knowledge and self-awareness to be advocates for their own health and well-being.
Her goal is to reduce a person’s reliance on others to resolve their limiting beliefs and reinforce their capacity to recognize their own strength and abilities.
